Technical SEO is the setup that lets Google crawl, render and index every page of a site: titles, meta, schema, sitemaps, redirects and Core Web Vitals. Pavlo Zhydkykh includes technical SEO in every Framer and Astro + Sanity build; an existing site gets a fixed quote after the free check, and small fixes cost $30 an hour.

Technical SEO is the setup that lets search engines crawl, render and index a site: status codes, redirects, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data and page speed. Technical SEO matters because content Google cannot reach or render does not rank, however good the writing is.
Wikipedia: Search engine optimization
“I treat technical SEO as boring on purpose: redirects, canonicals and a clean sitemap do more for a new site than any blog post.”
Fit check
Compared
Most technical SEO problems cost less to prevent than to repair. The difference shows in the first weeks after launch.
| Criterion | Fixed after launch | Built in from day one |
|---|---|---|
| When | After traffic drops | Before the domain goes live |
| Redirects | Added as 404s appear | Mapped for every old URL |
| Schema | A plugin guesses the markup | Written per page type in JSON-LD |
| Speed | Patched with caching plugins | Light pages, PageSpeed 90+ on mobile |
| Cost | Hours billed on top | Included in the build price |
Checklist
The checks Pavlo runs on every site before the domain goes live. Most take a minute with free tools.
Each old address returns a 301 to the closest new page, not to the home page and not through a chain of hops.
Unique titles under 60 characters and a single H1 that says what the page is.
No redirects, no 404s and no noindex pages in sitemap.xml, and the file is submitted in Search Console.
Preview builds often ship with "Disallow: /". One leftover line removes the whole site from search.
Each page declares a self-referencing canonical URL, so copies from parameters or trailing slashes do not split the signals.
Organization, Service, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList markup validate without errors in the Google Rich Results Test.
Hero images sized and compressed, fonts preloaded, no heavy scripts, checked in PageSpeed Insights on mobile.
How it works
In a new build these steps run inside the build timeline. For an existing site the same steps follow a fixed quote with the timeline in writing.
| # | Step | When | What happens | You get |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Crawl and inventory | Day 1 | Every URL on the site collected with the status code, title, canonical and indexing state. | A full list of pages and problems |
| 02 | Search Console review | Day 1 | Indexing, Core Web Vitals and crawl errors read from your own Search Console account. | What Google sees today |
| 03 | Fix list and fixed quote | After the review | Problems ranked by impact, with a short call to agree what gets fixed. | A fixed price and timeline in writing |
| 04 | Redirects, sitemap, robots.txt | Set in the quote | A 301 for every broken or moved URL, a clean sitemap and crawl rules checked line by line. | A site Google can crawl end to end |
| 05 | Titles, canonicals, schema | Set in the quote | Unique titles and meta, self-referencing canonicals and JSON-LD per page type. | Pages Google can index and describe |
| 06 | Speed fixes | Set in the quote | Images, fonts and scripts reduced, with the LCP element named and measured on mobile. | Better Core Web Vitals |
| 07 | Launch and Search Console check | Launch day | Changes go live, the sitemap is resubmitted and Search Console is checked for errors. | A clean report, then $30 an hour only when needed |

FAQ
Still unsure? Ask your AI about Pavlo Zhydkykh:
Technical SEO is included in every site Pavlo builds, at no extra cost. For an existing site you get a fixed quote after the free check, and small fixes cost $30 an hour.
The timeline is set in the fixed quote, before work starts, and depends on the number of pages and problems. Google then recrawls on a schedule of Google's own, which Pavlo tracks in Search Console.
Technical fixes remove what stops Google from crawling and indexing the site, but no one can promise a position. Rankings also depend on content, links and competition, and the fix list says which of those hold the site back.
Editor access to the site, user access to Google Search Console and, after a platform move, a list or sitemap of the old URLs. Pavlo works inside your own accounts, so nothing has to be handed over later.
Yes, if old URLs are left without redirects. Every old URL gets a 301 to the matching new page and Search Console is checked after launch; on MStudio Asia, Pavlo mapped 105 old URLs.
Pavlo resubmits the sitemap and checks Search Console for crawl and indexing errors. Later fixes cost $30 an hour, with no retainer and no monthly fee.
